About me
Laura Egan is a Managing Attorney for Pro Bono and Communications with the Children's Immigration Law Academy (CILA). CILA is a project of the American Bar Association's Commission on Immigration. She has been a part of the CILA team since 2019. Laura has practiced in two areas of law, immigration and disability law. She started her legal career as a disability attorney representing hundreds of clients in administrative hearings in Washington, Oregon, and California. Prior to joining CILA, she worked in removal defense where she managed the non-detained docket at a small immigration law firm.
