About me
Johana Soileau is a graduate of UT Austin with her Bachelor of Arts in Government and Sociology. She has spent many years dedicated to service and empowerment of underrepresented communities through non-profit work, education, mentoring, and now the legal field. Her philosophy is that she is in the “business of people,” demonstrated by her passion to connect and support people from all walks of life and backgrounds.
As a Legal Access Fellow in the South Plains Area, her work focuses on connecting community partners to one another to create a stronger referral system, supporting the Spanish-speaking population in the area through accessible legal materials and 1:1 support throughout their case, and advocating for survivors of domestic violence, especially those in rural areas of Texas.
